About these terms
These terms apply when you use JobPrice. By creating an account or buying a subscription, you agree to them. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract. If you use JobPrice for a business, you confirm that you have authority to act for that business.
Estimates and drafts are guidance
The free estimator provides indicative UK home-improvement cost ranges. JobPrice’s AI and business tools can also help you draft quotes and invoices for different industries, countries and currencies. Outputs are not a valuation, survey, regulated professional advice or a guarantee of price, safety, suitability, legal compliance or outcome. Actual costs depend on the specification, market, location, access, taxes, fees, licences and service provider you choose. You remain responsible for checking every scope, figure, currency, tax treatment, local law, industry rule and document before relying on or sending it.
Accounts and acceptable use
You must provide accurate information, keep your password secure and tell us promptly about suspected misuse. You must not use JobPrice unlawfully, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorised access, upload malicious material, infringe another person’s rights or use the service to create misleading or fraudulent documents.
Subscriptions and payment
Pro and Business subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe at the price shown at checkout. They renew automatically until cancelled. Any applicable tax and the exact amount charged are shown by Stripe before payment. Features included in each plan are described on the Plans page and may be improved or replaced, but we will not remove the core paid service during a paid period without a reasonable remedy.
Your content and AI-assisted drafts
You retain responsibility for the information and documents you enter. You give us permission to process that content only as needed to provide, secure and support JobPrice. AI-generated drafts may contain mistakes or omissions and must be reviewed before use. Do not submit information you are not authorised to use.
Availability and account action
We aim to keep JobPrice available but cannot promise uninterrupted operation. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, non-payment or serious breach of these terms. We will act reasonably and restore access where the issue is resolved.
Liability and legal rights
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, JobPrice is not responsible for service-provider performance, decisions made from estimates or AI-assisted drafts, or indirect business losses. If you use JobPrice as a business, our total liability connected with the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the preceding 12 months.
Ending these terms and governing law
You may stop using the free service at any time and may cancel a paid plan as explained in our Cancellation & Refund Policy. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you retain mandatory protections under the laws that apply where you live and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under those laws.
